Introduction to Health Care Careers Camp

  • Our Introduction to Health Care Careers Camp is designed for students ages 11-14 who are interested in learning about the different health care careers available at Miami Dade College.
  • In this one-week camp, students will explore different careers while participating in hands-on activities. Students will participate in our state-of-the-art simulation lab, Students will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Saver certificate and learn how to take vital signs. In addition, students will gain basic knowledge in EKG monitoring and interpretation.
  • Dates: 07/13 - 07/17, 2026
  • Classes: 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
  • Age: 11 to 14 years old
  • Location: Medical Campus
