You will learn Hangul (the Korean alphabet), 600-700 essential vocabulary words, basic grammar structures, and how to communicate in everyday situations. The course covers introductions, daily routines, asking for directions, ordering food, and shopping, along with cultural concepts like politeness levels and honorifics.

No prior knowledge is required. This course is designed for absolute beginners. We start from the very basics, including learning Hangul from scratch.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of completion from Miami Dade College, demonstrating your foundational Korean language skills.

All learning materials will be provided or recommended by the instructor. You may need to purchase a textbook, which will be discussed on the first day of class.
