Power the Future
learn the basis of electric vehicle technology

Explore the world of electric vehicles. Learn about battery systems, motors, and vehicle design while building a working EV.

Cute white and blue cartoon robot with a digital screen face and headphones, standing next to a circular teal-colored digital gauge displaying an electric vehicle charging icon and 100% charge status. The robot has a cheerful digital smile and a yellow accent detail, set against a clean white and light blue background with circular design elements. The charging gauge features radial blue illuminated lines creating a futuristic, high-tech charging visualization that suggests energy, technology, and efficiency.
Group of teenagers in a classroom workshop, focused intently on assembling mechanical components. Several students wearing gray and blue sweatshirts lean over a white table with bright coral-colored wheels and black tires. A fluorescent-lit room with white walls and blue work surfaces shows students collaboratively working on what appears to be an engineering or robotics project. One student in a black hoodie carefully handles a wheel mechanism, while others observe and assist. The scene suggests a hands-on learning environment emphasizing technical skills, teamwork, and practical design education.

About the Electric Vehicle Summer Camp

  • This camp will introduce them to the basics of electric vehicle technology and help them develop the skills they need to understand how electric vehicles work. Throughout the week, campers will learn about the components of an electric vehicle, including the battery, electric motor, and charging system. They will participate in hands-on activities and projects that will help them understand how electric vehicles are designed and how they compare to traditional internal combustion engines.
  • By the end of the camp, participants will have a solid understanding of electric vehicle technology and will have gained the skills they need to explore this exciting field further.
  • This summer camp is perfect for students who are interested in technology and sustainability and want to learn more about how electric vehicles work.
  • Dates: June 22 to 26, 2026
  • Classes: 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
  • Age: 13 to 17 years old
  • Location: West Campus
Futuristic digital visualization of a circular technological interface, featuring multiple layered rings in metallic blue, black, and vibrant orange tones. Complex circular circuitry and circuit board-like patterns radiate from a central cybernetic brain/neural network icon. Intricate glowing digital elements and concentric rings create a sense of depth, technological sophistication, and interconnected intelligence. High-resolution 3D rendering suggests advanced computing, artificial intelligence, or data processing concept with sleek, dynamic visual design emphasizing technological innovation and complexity.
