Let MDC guide you through the process of becoming a safe and successful member of the in-demand trucking and logistics industry. Our experienced instructors and high-class equipment will allow you to gain the experience you need to earn your Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License.

The Class A license is the highest level of commercial driver's license. It allows you to operate any vehicle with a trailer that has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 26,000 pounds. In this Class A CDL course you’ll learn about vehicle safety, accident prevention, operating regulations, cargo handling, documentation procedures, pre-trip preparation, vehicle inspection, maintenance, service, control procedures, backing, coupling, uncoupling, maneuvering, road and hazardous driving skills, and licensing requirements.

The Class B license enables a person to drive a commercial vehicle that is not a Class A or Class C vehicle. After obtaining a Class B CDL, the driver will be able to operate buses, dump trucks, box trucks, and other similar vehicles. In this Class B CDL course you’ll learn about vehicle safety, accident prevention, operating regulations, cargo handling, documentation procedures, pre-trip preparation, vehicle inspection, maintenance, service, control procedures, backing, maneuvering, road and hazardous driving skills, and licensing requirements.
