About the Introduction to International Trade and Foreign Trade Zones
- This course is the first step in our comprehensive Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Specialist Certificate, designed to build progressive expertise in international trade and customs compliance.
- This course introduces students to the fundamentals of international trade and the structure and operation of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) in the United States. Students will examine global trade systems, major trade agreements, and the legal/regulatory framework that governs FTZs. Emphasis is placed on stakeholder roles, compliance requirements, and the strategic applications of FTZs within supply chains.
