About Water Polo for Youth
- Dive into the exciting world of water polo! Our comprehensive program introduces young athletes to one of the most dynamic and fast-paced aquatic sports available.
- Students will master essential skills including treading water, passing, shooting, teamwork, and game strategies—all in a safe and supportive environment. Our experienced instructors focus on building confidence in the water, improving swimming endurance, and fostering excellent sportsmanship.
- Whether your child is a beginner or has some swimming experience, our water polo program develops proper fundamental skills, improves overall physical fitness, teaches offensive and defensive strategies, and builds teamwork and communication abilities in competitive play.

This program is designed for young athletes ages 9 to 15 years old. All participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water.
Participants must be comfortable swimming in deep water. While prior water polo experience is not necessary, basic swimming proficiency is essential for safety and success in the program.
Students should bring swim goggles and a swim cap. All other water polo equipment and training materials are provided during the program.
All classes are held at the Miami Dade College Kendall campus in-person. This allows for hands-on instruction in our aquatic facilities.
Absolutely! Our program is designed for beginners and those with some experience. We start with fundamental skills and progress at a pace suitable for all participants.
