The Telecommunications and Fiber Optics Technician Certificate is a comprehensive program that prepares students with the technical and safety skills needed to excel in telecommunications and fiber optics careers. The curriculum blends theoretical instruction with hands-on training in workplace safety, aerial and underground construction, fiber and coax splicing, and equipment operation.

Upon completion of the program, graduates are prepared to earn industry-recognized certifications including the Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT), Fiber Optics Installer (FOI), OSHA 30-hour Safety card, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. These credentials are highly valued by employers in the telecommunications industry.

Attendance is mandatory for the Workplace Safety and Health | OSHA-30 course. Students must complete all required instructional hours to be eligible to receive the OSHA- 30 card. Absences, tardiness, or early departures may result in dismissal from the course and ineligibility for certification.
